The Medical Board of California announced 25 doctors in the state have been disciplined, including one in Fresno and one in Porterville.

The license of Jordan Isaac Ziegler, MD in Fresno was placed on five years’ probation with various terms and conditions in February.

The board said Dr. Ziegler committed acts of repeated negligence and unprofessional conduct.

He must complete an education course and an ethics course and is prohibited from engaging in the solo practice of medicine. He also must reimburse the board $30,000 for the costs of investigation and enforcement.

In Porterville, the board issued a public reprimand in February of Tejal Gaurang Pandya, MD.

Dr. Pandya was reprimanded for a minor violation of the law and is able to continue practicing medicine.

She will be required to reimburse the board $40,183 for the cost of investigation and enforcement.

The other doctors disciplined are mostly in Southern California.
