Police hunt knifeman after boy, 15, stabbed to death at shopping centre

Police are hunting a knifeman after a 15-year-old schoolboy was stabbed to death at a shopping centre. Emergency services rushed to New Square in West Bromwich town centre after the teenager was attacked at around 9.15pm yesterday (Sun). Despite the efforts of paramedics, the teenager, who has not been named, sadly died at the scene just off New Street. West Midlands Police has launched a murder investigation and urged any witnesses or anyone with information to get in touch with the force. Detective Chief Inspector Laura Harrison, from the homicide team, said: "It is a tragedy that yet another young life has been lost as a result knife crime.
