Disneyland Paris is set for an exciting 'transformation' with the introduction of a brand new Frozen-themed land. The park's Walt Disney Studios Park is undergoing a significant revamp, which will see the addition of a Frozen-inspired area among a variety of new attractions.

Disneyland Paris consists of two parks: the fairytale Disneyland with its iconic Sleeping Beauty Castle and the more recent Walt Disney Studios Park, home to the Marvel Avengers campus and Toy Story Playland.

Opened in 2002, Walt Disney Studios Park is currently in the midst of a comprehensive transformation that will effectively double its size upon completion.

The expansion includes the creation of the World of Frozen, a magical land based on the hit movie, where visitors can step into the world of Arendelle and meet beloved characters such as Anna, Elsa, and Olaf.

While details remain under wraps, Disney has tantalised fans with concept art for the new land, showcasing the majestic ice palace and the kingdom's environs, as well as teasing an indoor attraction, reports the Manchester Evening News.

The resort has announced that the "World of Frozen will bring guests on a journey to the kingdom of Arendelle with its colourful facades and remarkable North Mountain".

At present, only Hong Kong Disneyland boasts a dedicated Frozen-themed area, but fans can also experience a Frozen attraction at Epcot in Walt Disney World, Florida, according to a report by the Mirror.

Disneyland Paris is set to undergo a massive transformation worth millions of pounds, promising plenty of new attractions for visitors to look forward to.

In addition to the much-anticipated Frozen land, there will be a plethora of new attractions, eateries and gardens for families to explore, including a Tangled-themed 'Raiponce Tangled Spin' attraction.

The 'Adventure Bay' area will feature a "unique entertainment stage", offering thrilling water-based entertainment complete with fountains, music, lights and special effects. There will also be a second entrance to the theme park, inspired by Hollywood.

Disney has also teased another "brand-new immersive world, whose concept and design are currently being finalised by Imagineers", the concept and design of which are currently being finalised by their Imagineers, although they have yet to reveal any details about what this might entail.
