Caitlyn Jenner's brutal two-word response to OJ Simpson's death aged 76

Former Olympic athlete turned reality show star Caitlyn Jenner had exactly two words on the death of OJ Simpson - "Good Riddance"

Caitlyn Jenner had two words for OJ: 'Good Riddance'

Caitlyn Jenner spoke out after OJ Simpson's death today, posting on Twitter: "Good Riddance #OJSimpson"

The disgraced former American football icon died aged 76 in Las Vegas after a prostate cancer diagnosis.

“On April 10th, our father, Orenthal James Simpson, succumbed to his battle with cancer,” the family wrote on Twitter. "He was surrounded by his children and grandchildren. During this time of transition, his family asks that you please respect their wishes for privacy and grace.”

Caitlyn was married to Kris Jenner, whose former husband Robert Kardashian was close friends with OJ Simpson when The Juice was accused of the 1994 stabbing of Nicole Brown Simpson and close friend Ron Goldman in Los Angeles.

Simpson was regarded as one of the greatest running backs of all time after spending a decade in the NFL playing for the Buffalo Bills and San Francisco 49ers. He become a household name after being drafted No.1 overall by the Bills in 1969 after playing college football for USC.

But OJ became even better known for the court case that overshadowed his career as a footballer. He was famously acquitted at the end of a long trial in 1995, where he was represented by Robert Kardashian, Kris Jenner's former husband. OJ was later found guilty in a civil trial in 1996, and Brown's family was awarded damages.

Tributes to Simpson were few and far between. Goldman’s father, Fred, told the Mirror: “It is a reminder of how long Ron has been gone and how much we miss him. The only thing that is truly important are the victims. There is nothing that is more important than the loss of my son and the loss of Nicole.”
