Donald Trump Shows Off Signature Dance Moves at Golf Tournament

Donald Trump made a surprise showing at the final round of the LIV Golf Miami on Sunday, treating the crowd to his signature dance moves.

The 77-year-old made a last-minute appearance at the tournament held at his Doral course in Miami, Florida.

The former president and his son, Eric Trump, were greeted by cheering fans, who chanted "47" as they entered the practice green. Wearing a "Make America Great Again" hat and a white polo shirt, the Republican nominee waved his arms and wiggled his hips for onlookers.

Newsweek has reached out to Donald Trump for comment via email.

Trump is back on the campaign trail, after landing enough delegate votes in the presidential primaries to become the presumptive Republican nominee.

The real estate tycoon will likely be going head-to-head against President Joe Biden once again in November's general election. Although Trump has a devoted fanbase, his Democratic rival is currently leading in the polls.

Trump has already showcased his trademark moves several times in 2024. In February, Trump's deputy director of communications, Margo Martin, shared a video of him dancing with cheerleaders and a high school marching band as part of the Superbowl LVIII celebrations.

Filmed at the Trump International Golf Course in Florida, the video received 4.6 million views on X, formerly Twitter.

In March, footage of Trump pumping his fists on stage while the audience cheered him on also went viral, receiving more than 330,000 views.

While Trump supporters may love his dance moves, his wife Melania Trump is less of a fan.

Speaking at the California Republican Party convention in September, Trump said that the former first lady believes his dance moves are "unpresidential."

"She doesn't like when I dance a little bit to the [campaign] music," he told the audience, before showcasing a few moves.

Melania has joined her husband more frequently on the campaign trail in 2024 after her absence sparked missing rumors in 2023.

When asked if she planned to make more appearances alongside her politician husband in March, Melania told reporters to "stay tuned."

The former model has kept a low profile since Trump left office in 2021, despite taking an active role in his 2016 campaign, leading to speculation about their marriage. A Newsweek fact check found there is no verifiable evidence that suggests Trump and his wife are separating.

The couple hosted Hungarian Prime Minister Victor Orbán at their Mar-a-Lago compound in March, while the 53-year-old joined her husband for a fundraiser at billionaire businessman John Paulson's Palm Beach mansion on Saturday.
