Where's Donald? Did Trump show up for LIV Golf pro-am Thursday at Doral?

DORAL — Has hawking bibles and gold sneakers, and spending time defending himself against four indictments, finally slowed down Donald Trump's golf game?

Because after boasting he won two club championships at his course in West Palm Beach, the former president and Palm Beach resident had a chance to add to that long list of self-proclaimed titles at the LIV Golf pro-am Thursday at Trump National Doral.

But for the second consecutive year, Trump skipped the event.

Oct 27, 2022; Miami, Florida, USA; Former President Donald Trump plays his shot from the rough on the 18th hole during the Pro-Am tournament before the LIV Golf series at Trump National Doral.

This is the second time in six LIV events held at his properties that Trump was a no-show at the pro-am, both of those at Doral. LIV Golf Miami starts Friday.

Last month, Trump, 77, posted that he won the Club Championship and Senior Club Championship at Trump International in suburban West Palm Beach.

The post, which appeared on Truth Social, was sent during the club's awards night.

"It is my great honor to be at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach tonight, AWARDS NIGHT, to receive THE CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP TROPHY & THE SENIOR CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP TROPHY," Trump wrote.

"I WON BOTH!"

Trump added his club includes a "large and golfing talented membership, a GREAT and difficult course."

That post was mocked by President Joe Biden, who reposted Trump, and added: "Congratulations, Donald. Quite the accomplishment."

During LIV's first event at Doral 18 months ago, Trump played nine holes with Jupiter's Brooks Koepka and nine with Sergio Garcia in a group that included his son, Eric, and granddaughter, Kai.

That day he called over a group of golf writers.

"How's Trump's golf game?" he said talking about himself. "Pretty good, right?"

But few years compare to 2023 when it comes to Trump's dubious golf claims. Those included shooting a 67 at his course in Bedminster, New Jersey, a score that would have beaten all but six of the 144 rounds on that same course weeks earlier in a LIV Golf event; and magically capturing the two-day Senior Club Championship at West Palm Beach, without playing the first day.

A MAGA congressional candidate from Georgia recently said at a rally that Trump "put to shame two professional golfers," by shooting "a 70 on 18 holes."

Trump, who honed his golf skills many weekends in West Palm Beach while serving as president, is a staunch supporter of LIV Golf, which is funded by Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund.
