Queen’s Continuing Popularity Is Evident Via Their Latest Chart Feat

Following

Queen’s music continues to be consumed heavily and consistently in the United States, with the focus remaining on some of their biggest singles from decades past. This week, the band sees two of their most identifiable smashes reach a very special milestone at the same time, as Americans continue to stream the most popular tracks from the British rockers.

Two of Queen’s singles hit 200 weeks on the Hard Rock Streaming Songs chart this frame. They’ve both been living on the tally since what was likely its introduction 200 weeks ago, as they are one of several acts that sees at least one tune reach that milestone this time around.

Queen’s two tracks celebrating this milestone this frame appear back-to-back on the Hard Rock Streaming Songs chart. “Another One Bites the Dust” sits at No. 12, while “Bohemian Rhapsody” is a non-mover at No. 13.

Between those two, “Bohemian Rhapsody” is the bigger hit. It’s Queen’s only No. 1 on the Hard Rock Streaming Songs chart, and it has already spent a lot of time running the show. That single has racked up 43 stays atop the tally throughout the ranking’s lifetime.

“Another One Bites the Dust” has come close to the highest rung on the Hard Rock Streaming Songs chart, but it has yet to conquer the tally. So far, that song has climbed to No. 3, making it Queen’s second-highest-charting win.

Further down on the Hard Rock Streaming Songs chart, Queen scores another hit with a returning favorite. “Under Pressure,” their collaboration with David Bowie, breaks back onto the list at No. 25, in last place. That cut has now lived on the ranking of the most-streamed hard rock tunes in America for 186 weeks.

Queen has sent two other tracks to the Hard Rock Streaming Songs chart, but none are close to matching the 200-week milestone that “Another One Bites the Dust” and “Bohemian Rhapsody” reach this frame. “We Will Rock You” has spent 114 turns on the tally and has peaked at No. 7, while their other blockbuster release, “Don’t Stop Me Now,” rose as high as No. 21.
