WILLIAMSVILLE, Mo. (KFVS) - The United States Geological Survey reported an earthquake happened in southeast Missouri on Saturday.

According to the USGS, it was recorded at around 2:31 p.m. on April 13 just 6.1 miles east southeast of Williamsville.

Preliminary data indicates that the earthquake had a magnitude of 2.3 and a depth of 7.1 kilometers.
