Bishop Fenwick graduate Arianna Maida had a tremendous Boston Marathon, finishing in 2:48.50.

Rex Radloff, who calls Marblehead home, and Peabody native Arianna Maida were the top male and female finishers from the North Shore at Monday’s 128th running of the Boston Marathon.

The 36-year-old Radloff finished the 26.2-mile trek from Hopkinton to Copley Square in 2:34.47. He was the 222nd finisher overall and the 200th male.

Maida, a former Bishop Fenwick standout who now lives in Boston, ran a PR of 2:48.50. Excluding the pros in the field, the 28-year-old was the first female Bostonian to cross the finish line, and will now get the opportunity to meet Boston Mayor Michelle Wu.

Chapin Jacob, 38, of Wenham, was the second North Shore male to finish Monday, coming in at 2:46.01. Michael Harris, 27, of nearby South Hamilton was third among locals (2:47.07), followed by Topsfield’s 39-year-old Jonathon Western (2:49.37) and Ryan Graf, 39, of Swampscott (2:49.55).

The rest of the top 10 local male finishers included Michael Avens, 32, of Danvers (2:52.45), Daniel Donato, 43, of Marblehead (2:53.17), 45-year-old Patrick Hogan of Marblehead (2:54.50), Beverly’s 37-year-old John-Henry Forster (2:58.08), and Adam Grinovich, 42, also of Beverly (3:02.25).

Taking second place among North Shore females was 26-year-old Paige Lawler of Beverly. The former Washington University in St. Louis standout finished in a time of 3:02.52, the 250th woman to cross the line in Copley Square.

Isabel Avens of Danvers, 32, claimed third place among locals in 3:12.04. She was followed by Grace Crowell, 31, of Beverly (3:14.52) in fourth place, and Bethany Zanrucha, a 39-year-old from Marblehead (3:15.59), in fifth.

Rounding out the top 10 North Shore female finishers were Rachael Hall, 28, of Danvers (3:27.21), Carrie Paige Furnari, 42, of Marblehead (3:29.29), Peabody’s 28-year-old Antonia Pagliuca (3:35.08); Alison Daley, 33, of Hamilton (3:36.01), and 25-year-old Charlotte Clark of South Hamilton (3:36.03).

In all, there were 141 runners from The Salem News area who finished the race Monday.
