Angelina Jolie’s Daughter Vivienne’s Red Carpet Look Shows How Different She Is From Her Mom

Angelina Jolie and her daughter Vivienne Jolie-Pitt stepped out on the red carpet together Thursday night for the Broadway premiere of The Outsiders. And while mother-daughter co-producers both looked absolutely beautiful, their different styles have never been more obvious.

In pictures from the event, Jolie is dressed in a shimmery, floor-length brown dressed paired with a mustard yellow cape. Her long blonde hair hung in loose curls down her shoulders, and her makeup was gorgeous with her cherry-red lips.

Vivienne went with a more natural approach, with her short brown hair worn down and no makeup on at all. She wore a long-sleeved blue jumpsuit with blue Converse, which matched Justin Levine, creator of the show’s book, music, and lyrics. Their styles couldn’t be more different, but they both looked radiant!

The teen is a co-producer of The Outsiders, based on the 1967 novel by S.E. Hinton and the 1983 film adaption by Francis Ford Coppola. The Oscar winner spoke about her daughter’s hard work on the project in a recent interview with PEOPLE.

“Viv is a young artist who focuses her efforts on her support of others,” the proud mom told the outlet, sharing that it was Vivienne who actually brought her mom on board for this project. “She saw an early workshop a few times and then invited me to it.”

Jolie added, “She has been there to assist in any way she can and has learned so much from [score and co-book writer] Justin Levine and the whole creative team.”

Earlier this month, The Maleficent star and her teen daughter took a photo with The Outsiders cast at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre in New York city for a preview night. Vivienne wore a blue sweater and jeans, with no makeup for the group shot, while Jolie looked elegant in all black with sunglasses.

Jolie shares Vivienne and her twin brother Knox, 15, Shiloh, 17, Zahara, 19, Pax, 20, and Maddox, 22, with ex Brad Pitt.

Angelina Jolie is a mom of six — and the way she dotes on her kids is adorable!
