Suturin also led police on a high-speed police chase. Law enforcement was able to apprehend the suspect by spiking his tires on I-5.

Police say no one was hurt during this crime spree. The mother of the suspect made a statement at court about her son's actions claiming that he is not dangerous.

He's been totally normal this whole year like, I don't know what happened to him when he went on this," Suturin's mother stated.

When the judge asked the mother if she would like to say anything else she told the judge "he is not dangerous."

Despite the mother's plea that her son who shot at several churches is not dangerous, the Judge ordered Suturin to be held without bail until a competency evaluation is completed.

The judge said due to the circumstances of the crimes and Suturin's behavior he poses a significant risk to the safety of the public.

One of the churches hit, the Adventist Community Church of Vancouver, provided security footage to KATU News.

You can see the suspect's vehicle approach the church and then shots ring out. One door panel shatters after two shots hit it.
