Overnight in Delaware County: I-95 pursuit, ruckus in Ridley and Aston wreck

A few police departments in Delaware County had busy moments.

A few police departments in Delaware County had a lively overnight.

What follows is gleaned from radio traffic from the incidents. None of the agencies have yet issued information.

2 a.m.: State police involved in a vehicle pursuit northbound on Interstate 95 passing Ridley Park with speeds over 100 mph. Troopers broke off the pursuit at Broad Street.

2:10 a.m.: Ridley Township police respond to the Ridley House Restaurant, 2107 E. MacDade Blvd., for a disturbance. Officers soon report a male with uncontrolled facial bleeding. A short time later Folsom Fire Company is called to the scene for a wash down.

6:20 a.m.: Delaware County communications notifies Aston Township police of a crash in the 4000 block of Concord Road, but there is no communication with anyone in the vehicle, a Toyota Camry. A passerby arrives and reports two people down on the roadway, police learn. Police and ambulance crews arrive and report the occupants of the vehicle are conscious and alert.
