There is something appealing in factory building games. Thousands of people play such titles every day. The genre has found its place in the big virtual entertainment world with popular productions such as Factorio or Satisfactory. Now, Paradox Entertainment (publisher) and Channel 3 Entertainment (developer) want to add something new in this matter. We are speaking about Foundry. The title will be released in a few weeks, but players are already curious about multiplayer and coop in the game. Will it be on launch? How many people will be able to play? Let’s talk about it.

Multiplayer and coop in Foundry Explained

If you believe that everything is better in a group, especially video games, don’t worry, many players share this sentiment. Luckily, in the case of Foundry, you can enjoy it with friends (at least to some extent).

According to the official game’s site, you will be able to invite friends and play coop mode. If description is accurate, there will be no restrictions in the players’ number. Probably host’s PC will be the limit. However, developers recommend 2-4 people in a team for the best gameplay experience, so keep that in mind, when you invite companions.

It is far too early to say if Foundry will feature crossplay, as for now the game is available only on PC. So, you will not be able to play with friends from different platforms. If you want to learn more about console ports, read our separate article.
