LUBBOCK, Texas (NEWS RELEASE) - The Red Raiders fell to UCF (15-14, 3-7) on Thursday night. The Knights used a six-run fourth inning to vault them into the lead after Tech (21-9, 2-5) put up four runs in the first inning.

The middle of the order for the Red Raiders all picked up multiple hits with Riley Love, Kailey Wyckoff, Raegan Jennings and Demi Elder all recording a double and a single.

The Red Raiders were hurt by 10 runs left on base, a season-high, and that big inning by the Knights in the fourth.

Olivia Rains pitched well through three innings of work, allowing just two runs and striking out two.

Love extended her on-base streak to 19 games while Wyckoff picked up her 10th multi-hit game of the season.

That is the 18th game to end with an 8-5 score in program history. The Red Raiders are now 12-6 in contests ending with that score.
