The Arizona Cardinals are signing free agent center Evan Brown, a six-year veteran who started 16 games last season for the Seattle Seahawks, to a one-year contract, according to NFL Media’s Tom Pelissero.

The deal is worth a maximum of $2.9 million with incentives, per Pelissero.

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf (14) celebrates after scoring a touchdown with center Evan Brown (63) in the first quarter against the Los Angeles Rams at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California on Nov. 19, 2023.

The 6-foot-2, 320-pound Brown, 27, joins a position group that already includes Hjalte Froholdt, who started all 17 games last season after coming over from the Browns, plus Keith Ismael and Jon Gaines II.

Brown entered the league with the Giants in 2018 as an undrafted rookie free agent out of SMU. He also spent time with the Dolphins and Browns before signing with the Lions, where he started 24 games (at center and right guard) from 2021-22.
