ROSCOMMON COUNTY, Mich. (WPBN/WGTU) -- We now know the identity of the Prudenville woman who allegedly stabbed her husband multiple times earlier this week.

Brandy Yenglin, 42, was charged with assault with intent to murder and felonious assault.

Troopers responded to a home in Prudenville on Tuesday morning after receiving a report that a 47-year-old man "had been stabbed multiple times," state police said in a news release.

When the troopers arrived at the home, the man said "he was stabbed by his wife who had left the scene in the family vehicle," state police said.

The man was taken to a local hospital in stable condition and was eventually transferred to a hospital in Flint for surgery.

Yenglin was arrested in Houghton Lake.
