Breezy and humid midweek - warmer temperatures to come

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Winds pick up as moisture funnels into a storm system north of us this week.

Overnight lows will be warmer, sitting around mi- 60s to low 70s Tuesday morning. Highs remain in the low 80s, gradually warming by the end of the week to mid 80s.

The breeze picks up on Tuesday along with the humidity and cloud cover. Rain chances hold off until the later part of the week.

Scattered showers are possible on Thursday through Saturday as the boundary, bringing storms to our north stalls south. The front finally reaches us by Sunday, bringing a better chance for rain and a few storms.

Cooler temperatures will follow in the 70s.
