There's just something about pastel yellow that feels so right for spring, as BLACKPINK's Rosé just proved with her pretty pale butter yellow manicure. One look and we're instantly thinking about springtime sun and fields of daffodils and buttercups.
Rosé showed off her new nails in an Instagram photo dump of recent pics. They're not a bright golden yellow or cheerful lemon, but rather a more faded, super pale buttery shade; at first glance, they barely even look yellow at all! However, in another pic you can see the sheer wash of pastel yellow on her medium-length nails.
It's a gorgeous tone against her platinum blonde hair, not to mention a new spring trend. If you're looking for a subtle way to nod to spring, this is the perfect way to do it. Pastels always feel appropriate during the first weeks of springtime, and yellow appears to be a front-runner in the race for the most popular shade of spring 2024, all based on a Selena Gomez manicure from 2023 that recently grabbed headlines for its pretty, creamy light yellow color. With both Gomez and Rosé on board, it's pretty safe to assume that yellow will be the hue of the season. Previously, we saw Rosé try her hand (literally) at the trending lip gloss nail look, so there's really no trending style she doesn't look good in.
