Former Cardinals LB Arrested

Former Arizona Cardinals LB Terrell Suggs was arrested.

ARIZONA -- Former Arizona State Sun Devils and Arizona Cardinals LB Terrell Suggs was arrested on Tuesday, according to Scottsdale Police records.

Suggs was charged with threatening and intimidating, and disorderly conduct with a weapon, and released early Wednesday morning per ESPN's Josh Weinfuss.

More from ESPN's report:

"On March 10, Suggs, driving a black Range Rover, threatened to kill another driver after he backed into his car while trying to reverse in a Starbucks drive-thru line after initially driving past the ordering speaker, according to the police records. After Suggs hit the car, he and the man whose car Suggs hit got out of their vehicles and began arguing about whether or not Suggs actually hit the man's car. Both men got back into their cars without incident and finished their Starbucks orders, but when Suggs drove away, he stuck his middle finger up at the other man, and the man began to swear at Suggs. The two men then exchanged obscenities and Suggs said he would kill the other man.

"As Suggs began to pull out of the drive-thru, he stopped his car and stuck a handgun out of the driver's side window. The gun was never pointed at the other man, according to police records, but the man took Suggs' action as a threat. Before Suggs could drive off, the driver of the other car wrote down Suggs' license plate number and then called police.

"The other car had device recording audio and video attached to the front the car, so the entire incident was captured."

Suggs is a former first-round pick and Super Bowl champion with the Baltimore Ravens and Kansas City Chiefs. The former Defensive Player of the Year played for the Cardinals in 2019.
