A Myrtle Beach area woman appeared on an episode of a national television show, which helped her find and buy a home.

David Bromstad, host of the HGTV show “My Lottery Dream Home,” takes a woman named Jayne on a tour of three homes in what appear to be in the North Myrtle Beach and Myrtle Beach area, although the episode continually refers to the locations as Myrtle Beach.

The premise of the show is that Bromstad takes recent lottery winners on over-the-top house hunts for their new dream homes.

There are several sites featured in the second episode of the latest season. Viewers can watch the shows at 11 p.m. Friday and again at 2 a.m. April 13 and 7:30 p.m. May 13, according to HGTV’s website.

Bromstad first meets with Jayne at Snooky’s Oceanfront in North Myrtle Beach, where she tells him that she had inherited money from a friend. The episode also shows scenes on the Intracoastal Waterway, swing bridge and people on the beach.

Bromstad describes the area as home to the shag and known for its beaches, golf, mini golf and the ocean.

“Who doesn’t want to live in South Carolina Myrtle Beach?” he asks.

Jayne moved to Myrtle Beach from Pennsylvania and had been renting for a year. She ends buying a townhouse in the Myrtle Beach area.
