A KwaZulu-Natal teenager was faced with one of the three men who gang-raped her when she reported the crime at a police station in Greytown.
At the time, Mthethomusha Ndlovu had been arrested on a separate rape charge, when the 19-year-old pointed him out to officers as one of the three men who gang-raped her.
KwaZulu-Natal police spokesperson Colonel Robert Netshiunda on Tuesday said the sentence by the Greytown Regional Court related to the rape from February 2021, in which Ndlovu and two others took turns to rape the teen during a home robbery.
