Caitlyn Jenner is not done speaking her mind on OJ Simpson's death.

OJ died on Wednesday after battling cancer. His family released a statement on Thursday that read: "On April 10th, our father, Orenthal James Simpson, succumbed to his battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his children and grandchildren. During this time of transition, his family asks that you please respect their wishes for privacy and grace."

On Thursday, Caitlyn spoke out after OJ's death and posted on X, formerly known as Twitter: "Good Riddance #OJSimpson." Since then, she has received major backlash as his family and friends are grieving.

She responded to the backlash on Friday and wrote: "I know you all think it's cute to compare a fatal car accident (with multiple vehicles involved) to a BRUTAL MURDER." She continued: "But Remember… OJ said something to the effect of… I could kill her (Nicole) and get away with it bc I'm #OJSimpson."

The car accident she was referring to was the one she was involved in in 2015. She was not charged with vehicular manslaughter or anything else for her part in the fatal accident. The DA concluded that Caitlyn was not speeding, but she did brake late before crashing into a Lexus.

OJ was accused of murdering his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman after they were found stabbed to death outside her Los Angeles home in 1994. The trial was televised in the United States, which made headlines everywhere. A jury found OJ not guilty after eight months, concluding at the beginning of October 1995. It made history as the first televised live trial, with 100 million viewers tuning in to watch the highly-anticipated verdict.

Caitlyn, formerly named Bruce Jenner, was married to Kris Jenner, who was married to OJ's best friend and defense attorney, Robert Kardashian. The families were very close, to the point that they vacationed togethers and Kris' kids to Robert referred to OJ as "Uncle OJ."

Even though Cailtyn has been very vocal about OJ's death, Kris has not appeared to be posting anything on her social media since it was announcement. Nicole and Kris were good friends and even gave her and Caitlyn's daughter, Kendall, Nicole as her middle name.

Two weeks before Nicole's murder, the family was on a joint vacation in Mexico with OJ's family, Kim Kardashian revealed during an interview with David Letteraman. Kim admitted that the trial and murder "tore" the family apart. She said: "It kind of tore our family apart, I'd say, for the whole time of the trial."
