Everton have been slapped with another two-point deduction by the Premier League after discovering their fate for a second Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR) breach this season. The Blues were initially deducted 10 points for a previous charge - which was reduced on appeal - before a further financial penalty came their way.
An appeal against that second charge will be launched. However, as things stand, the latest two-point deduction means the club have had eight points taken from them this season and that has thrust them into added relegation danger as the Premier League gears up for what could be a nervous run-in at Goodison Park.
