An unnamed man who was recently in a police standoff in Pennsylvania was arrested with ammunition and other weapons in Chinatown Friday evening, according to officials.

The man was held on a mental-health commitment and will be brought to court on charges of illegal possession of explosives, a large-capacity ammunition feeding device, and a knife, according to The Boston Globe

Police spotted the vehicle, the subject of a BOLO (Be On Look Out) Notice, Friday evening.

The white Toyota Tacoma pickup truck’s interior and bed appeared to be filled with various items, such as blankets and broken furniture, according to police.

The officers called for backup but saw the man begin to rummage through the front seat of the truck, according to the Globe.

Police, believing there was a possibility the man could be armed and therefore a threat to the public, approached the vehicle, according to officials.

After he was taken into custody, police say they found the large spear, ammunition, a knife, as well as bows and arrows inside the car, according to the paper.

The man told the officers there were fireworks and dynamite in the truck, according to officials.

However, officers wrote that a search, including the use of police dogs, did not reveal any, according to the Globe.

The man was taken to a hospital for a mental health evaluation.
