TROOPERS ARREST A UTAH MAN AFTER FINDING NEARLY. 5 POUNDS OF SUSPECTED FENTANYL PILLS DURING A TRAFFIC STOP. THIS WAS NEAR NORTH PLATTE ON SUNDAY. TROOPERS STOPPED A 38 YEAR OLD TYRONE CASH FOR DRIVING WITHOUT HIS LIGHTS ON. TROOPERS BECAME SUSPICIOUS AND THEN THEY SEARCHED THE CAR. THEY FOUND BAGS CONTAINING THOUSANDS OF SUSPECTED FENTANYL PILL

Nebraska state troopers arrested a Utah man after finding almost five pounds of suspected fentanyl pills during a traffic stop.On April 7 around 11 p.m., a trooper stopped a Kia SUV that was driving without headlights or taillights on near North Platte. The trooper grew suspicious during the stop, and a search of the vehicle yielded bags with thousands of pills, suspected to be fentanyl.The trooper also found a handgun inside the vehicle. Tyrone Cash, 38, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession with intent to deliver, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.He was charged in Lincoln County Court and is currently in jail on a $250,000 bond. Nebraska state troopers arrested a Utah man after finding almost five pounds of suspected fentanyl pills during a traffic stop.

The trooper grew suspicious during the stop, and a search of the vehicle yielded bags with thousands of pills, suspected to be fentanyl.

The trooper also found a handgun inside the vehicle.

Tyrone Cash, 38, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession with intent to deliver, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
