When is the NFL Draft 2024? Here's the date, time, TV schedule and draft order
Dan RorabaughThe clock is ticking down as the NFL Draft approaches. Fans are eagerly awaiting which college football stars they'll be rooting for (or against) next season.
The Chicago Bears have the first pick in the draft, and the rival fans in Detroit are expected to see USC quarterback Caleb Williams taken with that pick. A quarterback has gone No. 1 overall five of the past six years, with the exception being linebacker Travon Walker to the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2022.
Mock drafts have quarterbacks going with the next few picks, too. Will the next teams in line take Drake Maye of North Carolina, Heisman winner Jayden Daniels of LSU or J.J. McCarthy of reigning champion Michigan? Will any of them take a leap instead on star receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. from Ohio State?
The Jaguars have eight picks in the NFL Draft, starting at No. 17 overall. The Miami Dolphins have six picks beginning at No. 21, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have seven picks with the first at No. 26.
