Two XL bullies seized after dog killed in attack
Two XL bully dogs have been seized after a third dog was killed in an attack and its owner injured, Sussex Police say.
The dog which carried out the attack is reported to have escaped from a nearby property.
Sussex Police said it happened in Mackie Avenue, Brighton, East Sussex, about 20:20 BST on Saturday.
The two dogs that have been seized are being held in a secure kennel while police seek an order for their destruction.
Restrictions on the ownership of XL bullies make it illegal to sell, give away, abandon or breed from them in England and Wales.
They must also be kept on a lead and muzzled in public.
It followed a series of attacks on people and other dogs.
