Kaley Cuoco, the star of The Big Bang Theory, has shared a heartwarming post on Instagram to celebrate her daughter Matilda's first birthday. The 38-year-old actress posted a video reel filled with her favourite moments from the past year with her little one.
Alongside the post, which was set to the tune of Gabby Barrett's 'Growin' Up Raising You', Kaley wrote: "Matilda you are 1! Best year of our lives .. you are a gift from above and have brought the deepest perfect joy to our entire family! Dada and I love you more than we could possibly ever explain. I cannot wait to see who you become, but for now, please stay my precious 1-year-old forever."
In her post, Kaley also gave a shout-out to her husband Tommy Pelphrey, writing: "@tommypelphrey thank you for being the best daddy (besides my own) the world has ever seen. She's perfect Happy birthday, angel girl.", reports the Mirror.
This sweet message comes after Kaley recently said a heartbreaking goodbye to her dog Blue on Instagram.
Sharing photos of her beloved late pooch, Kaley wrote: "Blue. I have cried harder over the loss of this gorgeous creature than I have in a long time. We have had to put down three dogs in the last year and this one has made me reflect."
She also talked about how close Blue was with her partner, Tom Pelphrey: "I'm crying for @tommypelphrey .... The relationship he had with Blue was so special. They were quite the duo. Traveling the country as a team... job to job then driving home to California where we all settled as a family together!
"Matilda came and Blue turned to mush like the rest of us. He was so gentle with her and kind."
"She was obsessed with his one squeaky toy, always stealing it from him. He would patiently wait till she dropped it then scoop it back up for himself and quietly walk away. He was the quiet mascot of our home but Tom was and will always be his one and only."
She finished her message by saying: "We are so lucky to be loved by animals. They are gifts from above and we have been given the honour to cherish them on this earth. To be their voices. To teach our children how to treat them and how to love them. Blue, it was an honour to be your second favourite human down here on earth. I can't wait for you to meet Norman, Sasha, Kingy, and Dumps. Oh, the adventures you will have! ".
