Former substitute at Bradley County middle school facing child abuse, assault charges

BRADLEY COUNTY, Tenn. — A now former substitute teacher for a middle school in Bradley County is facing child abuse and assault charges, according to the Bradley County Sheriff's Office.

The Bradley County Sheriff's Office tells us John Kern was a substitute teacher at Lake Forest Middle School.

The sheriff's office says Kern was arrested and charged with child abuse and assault.

They directed us to the district attorney's office for more information.
