After months of trauma, Roy’s ordeal could finally be at an end (Picture: ITV)

The fate of everyone’s favourite Coronation Street legend hangs in the balance next week as Roy Cropper’s (David Neilson) bail hearing takes place, and I’ve got you a first look at the dramatic scenes to come.

Brand new spoiler clips for next week’s offerings of the ITV soap chart various stages of the murder storyline that is Lauren Bolton’s (Cait Fitton) vanishing.

Roy, despite being completely innocent, has found himself in serious trouble with the law, with officers believing him to be responsible for Lauren’s disappearance and subsequent ‘murder’.

The much-loved cafe owner appears in court on Monday (April 15), hopeful that Dee-Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling-Brown) can secure his freedom.

Bobby Crawford (Jack Carroll), who is largely responsible for Roy’s ordeal after he pointed the finger, tries to make things right but ultimately ends up making things much worse!

This inevitably leads the way for Max Turner (Paddy Bever), who has always had something of a grudge against Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard), to complicate matters even further.

Oh boy.

If you’d like a little preview of the action to come then you’re in luck as I’ve got three video clips to tide you over until your next visit to the nation’s most famous fictional street.

Unfortunately, Roy is denied bail in subsequent scenes, meaning that he will remain in prison until the trial.
