NYPD investigating report of shots fired on Staten Island

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The NYPD is investigating a report of shots fired in Clifton on Monday night.

The incident was reported shortly after 8:30 p.m. in the vicinity of Park Hill Avenue, an NYPD spokeswoman said.

Officers canvassing the area recovered ballistic evidence at the scene, police said.

The NYPD spokeswoman went on to say that while no injuries were reported and no arrests have been made, the investigation remains ongoing.
