Traffic appears to have reopened on the I Street Bridge after a lengthy closure, according to a view from LiveCopter 3.
The traffic appeared to be at a stop around 4 p.m. and reopened just after 5:30 p.m. Friday.
A number of workers appeared to be looking at the railroad tracks on the lower portion of the bridge during the closure. The gates were down, stopping cars from entering the bridge from both sides.
A spokesperson for Union Pacific said the bridge was being realigned and the incident is under investigation.
