Former President Trump was projected to win Connecticut’s Republican primary, according to Decision Desk HQ.

The win could add as many as 28 delegates into Trump’s camp, according to a tracker from Decision Desk HQ/The Hill — though the former president has already hit the number he needs for the nomination.

Ex-rival Nikki Haley, whose sole primary win was in nearby Vermont, also appeared alongside Trump on the GOP ballot, according to the CT Mirror. She’s drawn some votes in other states even after dropping out, raising questions about the Republican voters frustrated with Trump.

Trump is set to go head-to-head against President Biden this fall in Connecticut, which has voted blue for the last three decades. Biden easily beat Trump in the state back in 2020.
