Officers find man fatally shot in northwest Dallas, police say

A man was found fatally shot in northwest Dallas early Saturday, police say.

At about 1:10 a.m., officers on patrol found a man unresponsive on a sidewalk in the 3600 block of Bolivar Drive, near Marsh, Dallas police said.

Dallas Fire-Rescue arrived, but man died at the scene. Police identified him as 27-year-old Sofonias Eduardo Gonzalez Morgan.

Police gave no other information and said the investigation is ongoing.
