GRAND RAPIDS, MI – A man was shot to death Saturday morning on Grand Rapids’ Southeast Side.
Grand Rapids police say a suspect in the fatal shooting has been arrested.
The shooting was reported around 11 a.m. Saturday, April 13, in the 1100 block of Lafayette Ave. SE, Grand Rapids police officials said.
When officers arrived, they found one adult man who had been shot. First responders attempted emergency first aid, but the man died at the scene, police said.
Shortly after, officers arrested another adult man as a suspect in the shooting.
Grand Rapids police did not release the age or identity of the man who was killed.
The case remains under investigation by the Grand Rapids Police Department’s Major Case Team.
