SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine (WMTW) - People across Maine were digging out and clearing snow Thursday - with snow still falling through the day - but one man in South Portland added a little extra style to the storm cleanup.

Ben Hoffman was out Thursday morning in South Portland wearing a “utili-kilt” complete with Bean boots, shoveling the slushy, watery mess in his driveway. He said the kilt is comfortable and keeps him from overheating while lifting the wet and very heavy snow.

“Just trying to clean up the driveway for my wife,” he said. “I know it’s going to turn to ice if I don’t get it out.”
