The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is seeking online applications for the recruitment of Sub-Inspectors and Constables within the Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Railway Protection Special Force (RPSF). According to the notification, the application process commenced today, April 15. The last day to apply for the aforementioned positions is May 14. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can apply for the positions of Constable and Sub-Inspector through the official website, rpf.Indianrailways.gov.in.
Under this recruitment drive, a total of 4660 vacancies are to be filled by RRB, out of which 4,208 are reserved for the post of constable and the remaining 452 are for Sub Inspector posts.
RPF Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria
Age limit: The minimum age for applying for the post of Sub-Inspector is 20 years and the maximum is 28 years. However, those applying for the post of Constable must be between 18 and 28 years.
Educational Qualification:
Sub-Inspector: Must hold a graduation degree from a recognized university.
Constable: Candidates should have successfully completed class 10th or an equivalent examination from a board recognised by the Government of India.
RPF Recruitment 2024: How To Apply

Step 2: Then, search for and click on the direct link available for RPF Recruitment 2024 on the webpage.
Step 3: Upon clicking, a new login window will appear on the screen.
Step 4: Register yourself and log in with the generated credentials.
Step 5: Upload all the necessary documents in the mentioned format and pay the application fee.
Step 6: Cross-check the RPF recruitment application form and hit submit.

RPF Recruitment 2024: Application Fee
For all candidates (except those categories mentioned below) the application fee is Rs 500, with Rs 400 refundable upon appearing in the CBT, after deducting bank charges as applicable. Candidates falling under SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, Female, Minorities, or Economically Backward Class (EBC) are required to pay an application fee of Rs 250. This fee shall be refunded after deducting bank charges, upon appearing in the CBT.
RPF Recruitment 2024: Selection Process
Candidates will go through a three-tiered selection process that includes a computer-based test (CBT), a physical efficiency test (PET), a physical measurement test (PMT), and document verification (DV).
Computer-Based Test: All candidates will have to sit for an online CBT exam. Based on their performance in the CBT test, candidates will be shortlisted. The exam will be conducted for 90 minutes (1 hour, 30 minutes). Applicants should note that one-third of the total marks in each question will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT): Shortlisted candidates (except ex-servicemen) will then undergo the physical tests.
Document Verification (DV): Upon successfully qualifying the physical tests, candidates will then undergo a document verification round to be selected as sub-inspectors and constables.
RPF Recruitment 2024: Salary Details
Applicants who get selected for the post of Sub-Inspector can expect an initial pay of Rs 35,400, while those who get selected for constable posts will get an initial pay of Rs 21,700.
