Grand Junction launches online sales and use tax portal

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KJCT) - The City of Grand Junction, in collaboration with the Colorado Department of Revenue and the Governor’s Office of Information Technology has launched a sales and use tax portal online.
The platform allows Colorado businesses to file sales tax returns for various jurisdictions through the portal, including home rule and state-administered ones. The portal is available at this link.
Key features include:
- Unified remittance and a standardized form
- Geographic Information System tax rate lookup
- Taxability and exemption matrix
- Calculation of tax rates for items with varying rates in the same jurisdiction
- History tracking for changes
