Liverpool, N.Y. -- Three third-prize-winning tickets were sold for the Powerball drawing in Upstate and Central New York this weekend, including one in Liverpool.
A third-place prize of $50,000 was won Saturday by a person who purchased the lottery ticket at the Speedway at 7369 Oswego Rd, according to a news release Sunday from the New York Lottery.
Other third-prize-winning tickets were purchased Upstate in Rochester and Wallkill, according to the release. A fourth was purchased on Staten Island.
No one won the Powerball jackpot for Saturday.
The winning numbers for the Powerball game are drawn from a field of one to 69 and the red Powerball is drawn from a separate field of one to 26. The Powerball drawing is televised every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m.
