Spartanburg man sentenced for criminal sexual conduct with a minor, officials say
A Spartanburg man has been sentenced after pleading guilty to sexual conduct with a minor, authorities say.
On Monday, Judge R. Keith Kelly sentenced Agustin Vargas, 51, of Spartanburg, to 20 years in prison for sexually abusing a child, says Attorney General Alan Wilson.

Wilson said Vargas will be registered as a sex offender.
Vargas pleaded guilty to criminal sexual conduct with a minor in the second degree and admitted to sexually abusing a six-year-old girl, officials say.
