Feds arrest Cleveland man accused of killing fellow passenger in car

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Federal agents on Tuesday arrested an 18-year-old Cleveland man accused of murder.

Members of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force apprehended Arshawn Thomas, who was wanted by Cleveland police on murder charges. Authorities say Thomas fatally shot Theodore Broadus, 18, of Cleveland, on July 14.

The shooting took place in the 3200 block of West 38th Street in the Clark-Fulton neighborhood. Broadus was riding in the car with three other men when shots were fired inside the vehicle, according to an initial report by Cleveland police.

A warrant for Thomas was issued on Tuesday. Authorities arrested Thomas at a home in the 2900 block of Hough Avenue.
