A woman accused of assaulting a man at Guadalajara Mexican Bar & Grill in Victoria was arrested on March 26 on charges of assault causing bodily injury, police said.
Shannon Villareal was arrested on charges of assault causes bodily injury.
A man told police Villareal had assaulted him by biting him on the back, leaving a mark on him, when he attempted to separate a fight between Villareal and his girlfriend. He said Villareal is his ex-girlfriend.
When police arrived at Guadalajara, the man told them he felt pain where Villareal had bitten him and he wished to pursue charges. After speaking with the man, Villareal was placed under arrest for assault causes bodily injury and transported to the Victoria County Jail.
