With Linda preparing to hand herself in, Stacey spotted an opportunity which could see all six of the women walk free.

After learning of Dean's latest awful behaviour, Stacey became determined that he would face the consequences of his actions in one way or another.

She headed over to his flat, where she prepared to plant the murder weapon so that he would look guilty.

Wednesday's episode explored the aftermath of this, as Dean became suspicious of Stacey's out of the blue visit.

Stacey did her best to play along and pretended she was there to make amends before Dean left for Pakistan.

When Dean was out of the room, Stacey secretly planted the meat thermometer in the kitchen.

Back at The Vic, Johnny wrote out a false witness statement for Suki to deliver using a burner phone anonymously away from Walford.

Linda became unsettled by this and insisted she wanted to go to the police and report Dean herself.

Johnny argued back, explaining that Linda's history with Dean would be used against her and it could threaten the entire plan.

Linda was eventually forced to back down and do things Johnny's way, until a later interaction with Dean made her think again.

Horrified that a smug Dean was about to leave the country, Linda decided to take matters into her own hands and headed to the police station to deliver the statement in person. But will she regret not listening to Johnny's advice?
