Volusia County deputies are investigating a deadly train crash in Holly Hill. They said this happened around 2 a.m. Saturday morning, where the tracks intersect with 3rd Street.Investigators say the woman was in her 60s, and she was trying to cross the tracks.They say the freight train that hit her was going less than 50 mph.The conductor and train stayed at the scene for hours as detectives recorded evidence. They said the conductor was cleared of wrongdoing.That stretch of railroad is now open again.In their latest update, deputies said they were working on identifying the woman and reaching out to her next of kin.
