China expresses concern over trade curbs, addresses production capacity issue in US meeting

BEIJING, April 17 (Reuters) - China expressed concern over U.S. economic and trade restrictions and made further responses on production capacity during a fourth meeting of the two countries' Economic Working Group in Washington, China's finance ministry said on Wednesday.

China's Vice Minister of Finance Liao Min and U.S. Treasury Undersecretary Jay Shambaugh chaired the meeting. U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen met with a Chinese delegation after the meeting, China's finance ministry said in a statement.
