Months ahead of several key congressional races in Bakersfield and across California, a Democratic super PAC is pouring millions of dollars into television and digital ads to spur a blue tide.

The House Majority PAC announced Sunday that it was booking more than $186 million — $146 million for television, $40 million for digital — in ads across 58 cities and counties nationwide, including $27 million across five areas in California — the most of any state.
