Man sentenced to prison for holding 3 people hostage in 12-hour standoff in Syracuse

Syracuse, N.Y. -- A man was sentenced to 14 years in state prison Friday for holding three people hostage and trying to kill someone during a 12-hour standoff in Syracuse.

Leslie T. Henderson, 46, of Syracuse, previously pleaded guilty to holding two teens and a woman hostage, shooting at a woman, endangering lives and possessing a gun on Sept. 16 inside an apartment building.
