Elisa Jordana, a South Florida internet personality and a former writer for SiriusXM radio's "Howard Stern" show, is facing a misdemeanor battery charge following an incident this week in which authorities allege she struck a man while driving and livestreaming a video in suburban West Palm Beach.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff's office arrested Jordana under her legal name, Elisa Ann Schwartz, on Monday, April 8. Investigators say the YouTube personality and a man were traveling on Haverhill Road just north of Gun Club Road that day when the two began to argue.

Jordana, who jail records indicate lives in West Palm Beach, is accused of striking the man three times, with the act being captured on a livestreamed video and then shared on her YouTube channel. The video features hair-pulling and profanity.

Circuit Judge Donald Hafele assigned Schwartz a public defender and ordered that she have no contact with her accuser. As a policy, the county Public Defender's Office does not comment on open cases.
