A 36-year-old man died in hospital last night after he was shot multiple times while walking in the Ridgeland Park Community, police said.
According to the daily crime report, the victim was walking on Antol Avenue when he was shot by someone traveling in a dark-colored Japanese vehicle.
Police said the man managed to run to a business establishment where he later collapsed.
Emergency medical personnel transported the victim to the hospital; however he succumbed to his injuries a short time later, police said.
This brings the country’s murder count to 43 for the year so far.
