FORT WAYNE — At its recent semi-annual conference and buying event in Houston, Do it Best hosted former President George W. Bush where he discussed leadership, legacy and the power of independent business.

During the exclusive session with thousands of Do it Best member-owners and staff March 24, Bush spoke about his time in the White House during a moderated conversation with host and Fort Wayne figure Curtis Smith. The former president shared his insights on leadership and succession planning, using examples of the challenges he faced during his presidency. He recalled the events of 9/11 from his unique point of view and spoke about the challenges facing our nation in the 21st century.
